This is true...
But when that year is up you have to export the car out of the US again. I
have taken this option under consideration in my attempt to import my S4 to
the US.
Interesting though what you said about the extention period and that you
could take advantage of this only having a foreign passport (I understand
you are a permanent resident in the US?).
As for me I have a Swedish passport and are a permanent resident in the US.
Are you saying this applies to me?
I have been busy tearing my hair of my head the last couple of months
trying to import my car to USA :-(
