I can tell you what VW's had X-fer pumps:
1984.5 and later Sciroccos
All A2 and A3 chassis cars
My QSW has one pump, in the tank. My Rabbit has one pump, external. I
don't know about Audis, but I always imagined that 4K's would be the same
as my Quantum- one pump, in the tank.
