I'm not a legal professional, so take with grain of salt.

I remember lusting after a Masarati Quattro Porte back in the 70's.  It was
a
nice large four door Masarati.  This, unless Audi and Masarati litigated,
somewhat dilutes Audi's claim to Quattro for use related to cars.

Audi would generally have no claim to non-car related use, as pointed out by
Chris with the examples above.

I, too, would say using quattro as a site name, even for the discussion of
Audi
cars, is sufficiently in the gray area of violating an Audi trademark that I
would
go for it.
