RE: UFO rotors

Okay, without disputing any statements on the list regarding the superiority
of UFOs from a physics perspective, or the fact that they feel better, it is
curious to me that R&T's test of the '91 200Q in Nov or Dec '90 listed the
minimum stopping distance for the car from 80mph at 252 ft. For the '90
V8Q, that distance was a bit shorter, around 246 ft, I think. In the June
'92 R&T, they have the S4 stopping (with G60s) from 80 mph at 247 ft. I'd
be amazed if R&T didn't drive cars with the factory pads installed, probably
jurids for the G60s, and whatever they use for the UFOs. THe rear brakes
for all three cars are virtually identical, 10.6" rotors with essentially
the same caliper. Yet these test show the braking difference to be
negligible, if at all. Are there other tests showing different results,
that more clearly favor UFOs?
