Re: Oil Smell
I seriously doubt that is the leak. Every type44 leaks there, but
not very much; it just looks ugly; my mechanic said he uses
high-pressure clamps to hold those down. Also, it usually only drops
onto the high pressure hose(which is immediately below the reservoir
on my car.)
Get underneath the car with a flashlight and look at the two cats.
$10 says the front interior side of the passenger cat converter has
oil on it from the right flange.
