Particularly as VAG do seem to have acknowledged the spares pricing
issue on pre-1990 cars. It's a shame for the independents who've
been making a living shipping parts between countries, but that's life.
A power steering pump that was recently quoted to me at GBP770-odd
for new and GBP356 for exchange is now apparently only GBP135 for
an exchange.
Audi's own fully synthetic oil is now cheaper than Mobil 1. Also a
better weight ...
