To everyone who responded to my problem concerning my 88 90Q trans.
problem....thanks!!!  

Ray is putting my new exhaust on tonight, trying the "cheap" fixes that
y'all mentioned and if they don't work, I have found a used tranny cheap
and it's getting installed at Lakes Audi in Laconia for next to nothing.
I'm so pleased. And it'll be done this week.  Thanks again, y'all.
