New Audi Driver : A Must Read

Hey,
    I just picked up the new issue of Audi Driver at Border's last night.
It's the one with the new A8 on the cover. Among other things are a
technical annalysis of the 2.7biturbo (haven't had a chance to read it yet),
a 1st part historical piece on the Auto Union P-wagens and a new feature
where they explain in detail older models. This month was the 2nd generation
Audi 80 quattro (to us the '84 4KQ).
    Surprisingly it answered many of the questions I threw at you fine
people just yesterday, though not quite as thoroughly as you all, and in
regards to the UK market. Still, here's a fact I can throw at you that maybe
you don't know. In Germany, the 4K (80) was available in 2-door quattro
form. Now that would be a cool car to import. I bet the things are dirt
cheap, and probably not too hard to import because of the age. I wonder why
I've never seen one modded on one of the German sites. If anyone has, point
me that way. I also wonder how many were produced.
    Oh yah, forgot one other thing. There is a detailed article on the Sport
Quattro too and some info on a new dark green one picked up by Dialynx.
