Underengineered pickup truck junk.  Open diff, cast iron center section,
unequal length shafts, electrically switched, vacuam shifted transfer case.
Snow performance is marginally enhanced at a tremendous dry weather tariff.
Definitely a slugs slug.  The 2.3 EFI motor was gutless already without the
additional zillion tons.
Tempo/Topaz were already crude, this takes the ride quality back another two
decades.  Ford sold quite a few to scared senior citizens after a few years of
heavy snows.  I don't see too many left on the streets though.
