BTDT: Bosch Platinum +4 Plugs



Since there has been some recent discussion on the new Bosch Plat +4s, I thought
I'd pass along my thoughts:

This past weekend, I put a set of the new Bosch Platinum +4 spark plugs in the
Syncro. It seems to make a difference... it fires up easier/faster, the idle is
smoother, and the throttle response is better. These replaced "regular", single
electrode Bosch Platinums that I installed shortly after I bought the car.

So, I don't know how the +4 plugs compare to the triple electrode non-plats...
maybe there wouldn't be much of a difference, but there seems to be a noticeable
difference vs. the single electrode plat plugs.

P.S. For the Syncro owners, those with the problem with the two red lights (Oxy
and Alt) that light up upon start, until you rev the engine a bit... that
problem has disappeared for me since I put these plugs in. When it starts now,
it revs up higher (i.e. smoother start etc...), thereby eliminating the problem.

There ya' have it... my BTDT on the subject. Of course, YMMV etc.
