After I did my 5 bolt conversion it came with single piston (old style half
aluminium) calipers and 11" rotors.I used the same pads Ferrodo (to my surprise
they are the same size as the stock 4kq pads just a bit thicker).
I must say that I had apsolutely no fade during a track day.
I could fade the stock 10" system on the street with same pads and fluid!
Maybe in your case you were using different fluids (different boiling temps)
becouse I could feel the difference. BTW I used ATE Super Blue for both setups.
If single piston calipers made a difference to me, I always thought the G60
would make an even bigger one.
Am I wrong in thinking like that?
