Considering new Audi A6 - advice needed
As a loyal Audi owner ('87 5000 CST, '90 200T, and '96 A6), I am considering
a new 99 Audi A6Q. Since I change cars frequently, leasing is very
attractive to me. YBH Audi in Edgemont, PA has been advertising the
following:
A6 QUATTRO $399/mo. NO CASH DOWN 39mo/10K yr + tax, tags, and bank fee. This
is not a stripped car!
A quick search on the internet showed the following ad for Hoffman Audi of
East Hartford Ct:
Audi A6 Quattro 325/mo, Sunroof, 16" Wheels, All-weather Package, 39
month closed end lease with purchase options. 10,000 mi. per year. $4500 cap
cost reduction. 1'st paymnt., refundable security deposit, $450 bank aqu.
fee, CT. reg. plus all taxes due on delivery.
I'd like any listers out there to comment on the YBH offer. Has anyone done
better? I remember that in February 98 Carlson Audi was offering $7250 off
any FWD A6 and $5000 off any A6Q. What are the dealers in your parts of the
world advertising? I'd like to know.
The dealer wouldn't quote me specifics over the phone (they want me to come
in), so I took guesstimates of the following numbers.
Residual Percentage 58%
MSRP $ 37,400.00
Dealer Discount $ 4,475.00
Agreed Price $ 32,925.00
Down Payment $ -
Amount to Lease $ 32,925.00
Residual Value $ 21,692.00
Lease Term (months) 39
Depreciation $ 11,233.00
Depreciation per month $ 288.03
Total Money (Purch+Residl) $ 54,617.00
Interest Rate 4.90%
Money Factor 0.002042
Interest per Month $ 111.51
Monthly Payment $ 399.54
Total Payments $ 15,581.88
