I was wondering the same thing, but didn't like the conclusion. If you
pay to have the conversion done (2Bennett, etc), you'll probably be able
to sell the car for about what you paid to have it done (+or- $5000 +
travel, etc). The more you add (big brakes, hot suspension, get rear
windows to work, etc.), the more you can sell it for, but you still
won't get your investment out of it.
Similarly, if you're looking to buy one that fits your description,
figger on not much less than 5-6 grand unless it's pretty beat up (in
which case, keep going).
Why ask you? Buying? Building? Selling?
