leaded versus unleaded
Dear List,
Well thanks to comments from a variety of listers I decided to try
running leaded petrol instead of the usual super unleaded, following the
removal of my_very_dead Cat. Having done 100 miles or so since the
change I have nothing unusual to report, car seems full of life and
behaves just like before.
The move to leaded petrol is merely an economy on my part, given the
price difference between leaded and super unleaded, but it does remind
me of the central issue which is the reason for the Cat in the first
place. Not wishing to debate the merit of Cat versus No Cat, anybody
care to voice an opinion as to whether a car without Cat is more
environmentally unsound running leaded or unleaded?
Cheers
Tim.
