A Very Short Fling (Audi Content, But Not Important)

Auto Unionists,

Well, that Alfa I saw just has too many red flags popping up on it to
consider, (like a blown 2nd gear synchro, some electrical gremlins and
that pesky salvage title), but that doesn't mean I won't stop looking for
one!  I now have two cars to consider for purchase, but I'm horribly
biased toward a quattro.  Thanks to all that e-mailed me personally with
info on the GTV6.  You know, I was afraid I'd get flamed about this, but
I only received positive and/or constructive letters.  This is how e-mail
should be!  [8^)  

Oh, another tidbit of Audi info:  Anyone in San Diego looking for a
rolling `86 5000tq parts car?  There's one for sale in the Auto Trader
for $1,700.  It's at the same used car dealer that was selling the Alfa. 
Why didn't I consider the 5000?  Simple:  it has 231,000 miles on it. 
YIKES!!!  No affiliation or motive, just passing the along a scouting
report.
