Re: Audi

There is no mention of the model of Audi Cindy drives, but apparently the A6
is prone to cracked oil pans if not driven carefully over speed bumps or if
whacked into parking lot curbs. Typical failure is a network of cracks which
weep oil at various rates, depending on the magnitude of the whack. A low
slung alloy pan is not a good combination. Alfa had the right idea on it's
early '70's Berlina - a robust steel pan guard was an option.
