RE: Tire time

Eric,
    You can fit a 225 width tire on the 7" wide wheel.  You can even fit
a 225/50 on a 6" wide wheel but I would not recommend that.  I even saw
that setup on a ur-q this weekend with the old 6" wide wheels but the
225's bulged a lot.  But on a 7" wide tire it is fine.  It may bulge a
bit but should not enough to harm performance.
    But, that said.  I would seriously look at the Yokohoma A520's.
Every single person I've talked to that has them loves them.  And
supposedly they hold up well at the track to.
    But, that all said.  You can find some nice 215 sized rubber and if
you can I think that would be a great size.  Maybe a 215/50-15.  Of
course, for like $80 each you can get 205/50-15 RE-71's and I love
mine.  But they do wear fast.
    But, enough tire talk for me.  I need to study.
