My '93 90S does the same, with dino or synth oil. It seems to knock less
now that I've got my engine cleaned out some (see my previous post about
oil consumption). I bought some Marvel Mystery Oil, I'm going to add a pint
to the oil and see if that helps, somebody posted that it helped their 5cyl
motor. Might not help, but it can't hurt.
