The switch is all one unit, I broke the low beam plastic slider inside
mine, ended up replacing the whole unit.

>From memory the replacement procedure:
* Disconnect battery
* Remove cover on steering wheel
* Remove steering wheel (Requires 22MM socket if I recall make sure you
have one before you start)
* Loosen two philips screws on steering mounted instrument cover,
access is from lower side.
* Loosen clamp on steering shaft sleeve with long philips head drive.
* Slide switches off shaft.
* Remove connectors from light switch
I got my used replacement for about $50 from a wrecker.
