Well, people have theorized that Renault invented an incredibly
tough paint which is able to hold together the R4's pre-rust...
(Was this a French-built one, though, or from the final 
incarnation as built by 'Revoz' in Yugoslavia? What year?)

ObR4: Having (I'm assuming) driven an R4 for a while,
would you agree that having the transmission lever 4 inches
to the right of the steering wheel is hard to improve upon
for fast and easy shifting? :) 

I wonder how hard it would be to import one here...maybe
do the pre-68-numbers-on-a-late-model trick?
