I am one of those people who have been using Mobil 1 in my mower for
years......   Maybe I am just a little "Anal". But, I have been usind 10W 30
in it.... The manual says 30. But it's been running that for going on 12
years.. Starts like a champ.. you will probably notice a difference right
off..
 And, It doesn't seem to consume any either.

It occurred to me recently that I've badly neglected oil changes
on our ~5-year-old lawnmower; I don't have its manual anymore,
nor a clue as to the weight of oil one would use. Considering
the low cost of the small amount of oil it would use, what
exact variety of Mobil 1 did you use?
(What sort of engine does it have - Briggs&Stratton, like
90% of the mowers in Western Europe and the US? :)
