my favorite lawnmower lubricant procedure used to be to take the used
big $$$ synthetic oil out of my motorcycle and put it into the mower.
particularly if it was the spring oil change, when the oil had very few
miles on it, but was being changed to remove any condensation or other
winter storage related contaminants.
