RE: 97 S6 - 95 S6 USA

They weren't ... if the cars weren't imported into the rest of the US, they
certainly weren't imported to California ... perhaps CA meant Canada?  

The last 5 cylinder turbos imported into California were the same '95.5' S6s
that everyone else got.  For one reason or another I was talking to a sales
manager at a local dealership at that time and he told me that not a lot of
California dealers even knew that the cars had been approved for sale here
... he saw it in a side box on a note for something else ... and ordered all
the cars he could get his hands on ...

	Although why were the 96 S 6 cars ok for California?
