I guess now isn't the time to tell you that there's been a list for
200q20v owners for (almost, not quite) a year now? :)

Several people on the 200q20v list are running the 265-285hp "class"
of chips(the manufacturers have claimed everything from 265 to 285 on
what are basically the same chip, and sometimes, the same company has
changed the claimed HP without changing the HP.)

But, most of us haven't had any problems so far with the increased
power, and at least one or two people are running in excess of
300-350hp. The quattro drivetrain is pretty damn tough...I think the
center drive shaft is some kind of carbon-fibre job!

On the clutch side, I haven't had any problems except for one time
when I absent-mindedly forgot to fully complete the "lift" part of
the shifting equation, but fully remembered the "pedal press" part of
the gas equation :) I got a little surprise, but as soon as I let up
my foot all the way(duh) the clutch pulled the engine's RPMs back
down without my having to let up on the gas(this has got to be a
fairly good test of how strong the clutch is.)
