... if I were faced with such a problem I think that I might consider the
feasibility of adapting the clutch/brake casting from a type 44 into the
QTC. Not only would it draw the clutch M/C into the passenger compartment
it would also eliminate the flexing of the firewall and any need to
strengthen it ...
... don't worry that the cat's out of the bag Bob ... I'm sure you've got
more stuff up your sleeve ... I was wondering why I couldn't find the
original message ... I even checked the qlist archives to see if it was
posted!
