You know, I actually agree with you.  Besides those who bought A4s
as personal appliances, there are some A4 owners that were probably
Hondacura transplants (you know, the slammed to the ground, tin-can
muffler variety).  They brought along a certain attitude and mentality...

I got this really bizarre e-mail from a young  A4 1.8T owner, flaming me
for posting pics of my un-modded A4 on my web site.  He was obviously
of the school of thought that the more aftermarket stuff you throw
on the car the more "cool" it becomes.  To him I seem to have committed
mortal sin by appreciating a fine car just as it is...

Hmmph.
