S4/S6 "short shifter" mod

Other 100/A6/S4/S6 listers might already know about this, but over the
weekend I did a quick mod to my S4 that's not only free, it's also reversible!

Background- I added a Momo anatomic shifter to the S4 a while ago, and
although it looked cool, it actually increased the shift throw because it
was substantially longer than the stock knob, and I couldn't figure out at
the time how to get it to sit lower.

	While detailing the car this past weekend, I pulled the shifter boot and
found that you can essentially lower the shift knob as much as you want by
just cutting down a plastic sleeve that positions the top of the shifter
boot. 3 minutes with a hacksaw and Voila!- the shifter sits 2 inches lower.
What's nice is replacing the cut piece reverses the mod, if I ever decide
to sell the car and want to replace the stock shift knob.
