Re: Multimeter Suggestion

I want to get my self a Multimeter so I can check out all sorts of cool stuff
on both my MC engined cars. Can anyone give me model #'s of units that they
have used, and what they think of them. I have a few customers who sell
diffrent brands of Multimeters one of them does sell the Fluke line. Any
other info of what I should look for would be great.

Sunpro 7678 is a pretty handy little unit (has direct duty-cycle readout,
a must for freq-valve-equipped cars, like '83 UrQ). Doesn't have any A/C
readout though, so you can't use it around the house. Available at many
auto parts stores. Also has temp probe option, handy to measure coolant
temps and A/C air outlet temps...

Fluke, Tektronix, etc. all make some _very_ nice units, if somewhat more
expensive, and a little trickier to use sometimes.

My $0.02's worth.
