Re: Johnson controls batteries



We've been thru this one before... Johnson Controls _used_ to make
all of Sears batteries.  They were good.  Then someone else made
_most_ of Sears batteries.  These are reported to be bad.

Interstate are currently reported to be good (and the 42 month, at
least 3 yrs old, in my 5k was fine when it was swapped out
_only_ as a precaution when going to Steamboat).  The biggest baddest
Interstate that it was replaced with worked fine at -20 deg F and
it does have the vent BTW.  The old Interstate is now doing service
in one of Pete Kunzler's cars and is doing fine.
