Fellow Audiians,
Having just completed the Audi factory tour a few weeks ago in
Neckarsulm, Germany, I can faithfully report that the A6 V8 wagon is
very cool indeed. I've driven the S6+ (V8) which never made it
stateside and the current S8 which isn't here either. Really nice
autobahn sports cars. Back to the A6 V8, from what I saw there are
models which are wide tired and have the some sort of fender widening in
the front, but not badge as S cars. I'm told these S versions are yet
to come. Lets hope the S version's gets here.
I've been told that Audi US will focus on the A6 line with the V8 and a
de-tuned 2.7 V6 turbo as new engine choices. The S4 will have the 2.7
turbo performance version engine.
