Re: Air Conditioning Not Working
Two possibilities to look at.
1) The 200 series (not sure on the 5k) has two outside temp sensors. One
is behind the grill and the other is under the plastic section by the
windshield on on the passenger side. If one of the two is bad this could
cause the problem. A symptom of this is the outside temp on your control
unit giving you a bizarre reading. (45 degrees on a 85 degree day)
Brother's car was cured by this fix.
2) The muti-function switch is bad. Mine would give the reading to the
dash guage, but would not kick in the compressor.
