OUCH.., maybe there's a REASON that the battery comes with a 
protective plastic cover for the positive terminal???????  And 
maybe it would be a good idea to USE it?????????

OTOH, this gent may simply have had the bad luck for the cover to 
fall off.  Could happen to anyone....so let's give him benefit of the 
doubt.
