Sears views batteries as annuities. They sell you a battery that will 
last 3 years and guarantee it for 4 years. Then when it dies you'll be 
sure to get another one from them because they will give you a prorated 
discount on the new battery. It's a scam--break the cycle and get your 
new battery elsewhere.
