RE: A rebuttal RE: Boo-hoo (Wuz: Great gas out!;

Once again this subject went completely off course, we always seem to have a
way in doing that..........
The issue is not and (never was) "supply of oil" it was and is, manipulating
(or what some of us call "supply and demand") of the price by the oil
companies...............

BTW, just for the sake of information:
The oil supply WILL not run out in the foreseeable future (contrary to what
the conventional publicized wisdom says!), at present time Iraq is operating
in less than 10% capacity, Russia in (about) 20% give or take capacity, and
the list goes on and on.................(figures taken from international
oil exploration publication)...........USA has one of the largest areas of
oil shell rock.............and on and on................

The factor that has to be taken into account is the environmental cost of
using this oil, that probably will be the factor that will make the use of
petroleum fuel absolute one day (who knows, too early to tell!).
So if anybody wants to discuss this subject it is a good idea to remember
that nobody is suggesting a shortage..... it is (was and will be!) price
manipulation by the parties involved (oil companies or oil producing
nations, whatever!)

the oil *will* run out someday. there *is* a fixed amount underground
and momma nature ain't making more.

once it's gone, it's gone, though actually it will just get more and
more expensive to tap until only the rich and well connected will be
able to get it.
