Concussion damage is permanent and cumulative. Make sure she checks out
regularly for the next few months.

Over here, blowing 0.8 or more is bang to rights. No escape. The law
provides for the offence of "driving under the influence" - which DOESN'T
require a breath or blood sample above the limit. If, in the opinion of
the arresting officer, you are "adversely influenced" by alcohol, you
can be arrested and charged even though you're below the statutory
mimimum intoxication level.
