Today I drove the car to work with no apparent problems. After I got home I 
was heading out on an errand. Upon reaching the end of the driveway the car 
would not move in any gear. I could hear the transmission turning but nothing 
to the wheels. Pushed it back into the garage to find one of the new axle 
shafts outer CV joint completely let go. The retaining ring was (apparently) 
not installed, and the joint slid off the end of the shaft.  "It's always 
somethin." I now have the suspension apart for the 4th time in 3 weeks. I'm 
getting rather proficient at the procedure.
