Help - Oil leak on 12V 2.8

I have two problems:
1)    I have discovered an oil leak from the top pulley (the one in
between the two cam pulleys) on my 2.8 12v engine. The leak seems to be
from the shaft seal but is difficult to tell. There is also a fairly
loud squeaking noise from the pulley. Is this easy to fix? What does
this pulley drive - the oil pump?

I'd appreciate if anyone could give me an idea of what needs replacing
i.e. simple shaft seal or the whole unit? Also, being in the UK there
aren't any factory manuals or Bentleys available here so I would
appreciate a run down on how to fix this. I have checked the ALL DATA CD
and it's useless.

2) I am also slowly loosing power steering fluid but cannot find a leak.
The hose which attaches to the bottom of the reservoir seems very
slightly damp but I don't believe that to be the cause of the fluid
level dropping. Can anyone advise where I should concentrate my search
for the leak? Are there any well know areas which tend to leak? My car
has 124K mile on it now.
