A/C COMPRESSOR (86 5ks)
I always use remanufactured compressors although there are good ones and bad
ones. There is a risk but 90% of the time they work fine. I can understand a
shop not wanting to make 10% of their customers mad. The safest solution is
a new OEM compressor but unfortunately that costs real money.
Sounds like you did fine. I assume the compressor came filled with oil. Too
much oil and the performance suffers (preferred). Too little oil and the
compressor is toast. If you have a leak don't run the system low on
refrigerant and next time you open the system replace the accumulator which
contains the dryer.
