Why do you think I said probably?

Don't feel like digging out the proof right now either.

I think the only assumptions it requires are that identity is
commutative, addition is distributive, and something else I don't
remember right now.  It's not rocket science.  A few more steps than
proving 1+1=2, that's all.

Oh yeah, you also have to agree on a methodology of proof or why bother?
