     I owned one with a mfg. date of 7/87. I think it had the 2.309L 
     engine, NG code? Body color spoiler, rear discs, etc. Owners manual 
     listed 130 hp.
     
     Anyway, whenever I tried to buy electrical parts, I would invariably 
     get the wrong part and eventually wind up with the "correct" parts 
     that were listed as fitting 1988 80/90's. Was that the engine in those 
     cars?
     
     I recently sold it for $2000, it needed struts all around but was in 
     great shape otherwise although it had a reconstructed title (recovered 
     theft). There really are people out there who know the difference. 
     Anyone buying a 12 year old coupe is probably an enthusiast and would 
     know the difference. I would advertise it highlighting the uniqueness 
     of the car. Good luck.
