RE: turbo intake elbow cheap replacement



Thanks for the pointer for the cheap part Steve!  You might be able to
reduce your problem by checking the mounts for the transaxle and perhaps
beefing them up.  You are probably getting excessive rotation of the drive
train based on the turbo motor and FWD ... I've never seen such a problem
with a q ... probably because the engine & transaxle are a bit more firmly
attached.  I learned how important that front "torque" mount was on my old
Fox (with a whopping 78HP) when the dealer left it loose after performing
scheduled maintenace ... in first gear that engine/drivetrain rocked quite
visibly both on accel and decel ... at one point touching the cam pulley on
the oil pan protection grate!
