I agree.

But I'd have to nod to the Model T.
The Beetle was the same success, but making it work in a different era.

The Mini was the 1st true 'economy' car. Ford took one apart and
theorized BL (or whoever) was losing $$$ on every Mini made. VW took
that idea and made it work with the Rabbit-Golf.

Looking at the list- I think it represents the auto pretty well
considering technology, production, utility, luxury, performance and
styling.
