Forgive me if I'm wrong...But I thought it was the sending unit that was
the problem, not the gauge...Anyone know for sure?

Even if you do hook up a digital one...won't it be the same basic reading?

However...if you're really interested Intellitronix corp makes a whole slew
of digital gauges.
