Jim, I'll jump in and give this a try, extrapolating from my
experience with the MC in my 5ktq and the WX in my ur-Q.
Ok, if you've got no secondary ignition, have you checked the
primary ignition (i.e. are you gettig spark from the coil)?
If you are getting spark out of the coil but none to the plugs,
check your rotor and distributor cap, and the plug wires too.
If you are not getting spark from the coil, you need to see if
the coil is getting the signal to generate a spark. On the 88
5ktq, terminal 15 on the coil is a blue/red wire; it's a blue/
black wire on my 86.
If the coil is not getting a signal to generate a spark, my
guess is one of two things- either the Hall sender or its
cabling is the problem, or, either or both the flywheel
reference mark signal is not getting to the ECU, or the
speed sensor is not gtting to the ECU.
Let us know what you find
