er, I believe your RS2 uses more than 1.0bar pressure to attain those numbers 
Dave.  If I remember my RS2 tech stuff correctly, 19psi equates to 1.3bar of 
pressure.  Given your own argument, this detail says alot about bmep.  Since 
BMEP is most efficient (highest) at peak torque, the RS2 wins with a lot of 
audi toys, including the intake and exhaust manifolds.  Given you need HP or 
torque to figure BMEP and/or BSFC, I'm not sure either of them are great 
indicators of much of anything any more.  You can use HP or torque to figure 
mechanical efficiency.
