	i think this has gone around once so far.

	imnsho, this won't make any difference at all
	unless we also do not use any gasoline that 
	day, which is the course of action i will take.
	evn then, the effectiveness is debatable.  but
	perhaps it will round out the idea of not driving,
	say, one day a week.  if one work day per week
	everyone took transit or carpooled, there would 
	be manybe 1/6th as many cars on the road, or 
	something like that.
