One possible solution I haven't seen mentioned: Utilities for creating a
larger 'virtual desktop resolution' so the software thinks your screen is
larger than it is. Then you move your mouse out to the edge of the screen and
it scrolls in that direction. This usually is provided by hardware vendor with
hardware specific drivers, I know some Dell desktops come with the
capability...
