NY Auto Show

I wanted to write and say sorry for not meeting up with all of you who went 
to the show on Saturday.  A friend from Scotland was in town and we arrived 
at the Audi booth a little late.  I asked one of the guys at the Audi desk 
and he said that you had just left :-).  All was not lost though.  Got to 
check out a fair amount of the show, and of course being with a Scotsman we 
had to go for a few pints.  On our way down to Chelsea we passed by a Red 
Ur-q that is owned by a Lieutenant of the NYPD.  The car was a little rough 
but I guess that is to be expected in NYC.  Met up with a few sailing buddies 
for a good night of eating and drinking.  After visiting Scotland something 
like 11 times I am still amazed at the quantity of beer that they can 
consume, and of course I tried to keep up :-).  Maybe us NY area listies 
could try to get together one of these days.  There is a NYR SCCA Auto cross 
at the Nassau coliseum on May 2nd.  That might be a fun venue.
