difference between 95/96 A6q

hi again q listers,
besides the a4's i've been looking at, i've been also looking at 95/96 a6q's. 
 can anyone tell me what the differences between the 95 and 95 a6q.  i think 
mechanically it has a different or newer quattro system, but does this change 
make any real difference?  i don't know if there's any cosmetic changes to 
the interior or exterior.  one seller told me that there was a different 
shifter knob and remote control for the door, but i don't know if this is a 
fact or not.  also, i know the bose stereo was slightly changed, but was the 
standard audi stereo with tape changed at all between those years?  the 
difference in price is quite a few thousand between the 95 and 96, so i don't 
know if the extra money is worth it for the 96.  any suggestions or opinions 
from the group would be greatly appreciated.
