I have gone through my ur-q book and image library and haven't seen a
picture of the car. If it is the Blomqvist car you describe the
documentation
I have shows Blomqvist DNF'd(engine) at Safari and was 4th at 1000 Lakes.
Vatanen won the 1000 Lakes in a 205 T16. 

1984 was the cross over year for the quattros, the sport quattro was 
introduced and was getting all the press, but when you look through
the quattro history a number of A2's were still being campaigned. I do have
a compilation tape of a couple of rallies from 1984, but I haven't watched
it
to see if there is any footage of IN-YJ-81.
